EMERGING EARTH INSTITUTE
dThe Cradle of Humankind, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies 60 kilometres north of Johannesburg in the heart of Southern Africa. It is one of three areas on the continent where our hominin forefathers first settled the earth. Over the next two and a half million years it served as an evolutionary laboratory for homo sapiens.
